Went into the store looking to upgrade my shop. Wanted to get a new sawstop table saw and a new 12' miter saw had some questions about them trying to decide between the bosch gsm12sd and the dewalt dws780 and didn't know what table saw I would need or how to configure it. Ask a associate if he could answer some questions he said he would be right back. The associates helped every customer that walked in the door while I wandered around waiting to 20 minutes before I just walked out. Had a $6,000 budget and wanted to support a smaller store but I guess I will be going to rockler. Update tried calling the number to give them another chance to rectify the situation said Ieft a review and was told to call the number, they said the owner is off today (awkward silence to give him a chance) then he said is there anything else I can help you with I said no have a good day
This is the worst place ever to buy tools. Most disrespectful employees I have ever encountered. Bet the owner will just come on here and tell me I'm wrong. At this place the customer is never right!!!
Wow. Myself and one other customer. Two employees behind the counter. One eating, one looking at something on the counter. Zero acknowledgement. Walked around looking for a spindle. Neither asked what I was looking for. I wont be back. No I didnt ask for help. When I walk right by two employees and one continues to eat and the other just looks down, I don't feel welcome. I just read some older reviews and found many about poor employee service and attitude. I can beleive that. And, btw, customers should not have to seek out employees, especially when they are the only one in the store. Can't believe you asked that.
I’ve been shopping at Tool zone for the past 20 years since they were in their old location. Purchased a Mayhew prybar set years ago from them with a lifetime warranty. They were breaking apart so I went back in there and they told me they do not handle warranties, the Mayhew website said to return to any authorized dealer. The only reason I still shop at Brick and Mortar stores is for customer service. I can always buy online for way cheaper. Luckily I emailed Mayhew, sent some pics and they took sent me new ones no questions asked. I like going into Tool Zone, but from now on I will just use their store as a catalog, pull out my phone and have the item shipped to my house. Sad.
